The new west stand
I`m sure you know by now,but if you havn`t heard,Or seen the new stand is in progress hear is the lo-down.For many years the boleyn ground has been one of the smallest grounds in the premiership.This will change when the new boleyn ground is completed,The new west stand is currentley being built behind the old one,And when complete,it will hold way over 15,000 people alone.
When this stage is completed (early next season) the capacity of the boleyn ground will rise to over 35,000,the second phase,the new east stand will be completed by 2003,and the capacity will rise again to just over 40,500.
